Ingredients

150 g sugar
40 g flour
100 g butter
3 eggs
150 g walnut halves
1 pinch of salt
1 liquor glass of rum (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  2. Chop the nuts with the mixer.
  3. Mix the nuts with half of the sugar.
  4. Incorporate the remaining sugar to the softened butter with the beater attachment (speed 2).
  5. Add it to the mixture nut and sugar.
  6. Mix well to obtain a smooth and glossy mixture.
  7. Add the eggs one by one, salt, flour and rum and at the same time mix with the beater attachment.
  8. Pour into a greased tin ( 22 cm).
  9. Bake in the oven for 40 min.
