Ingredients

2/3 L milk
70 g sugar
Vanilla extract
125 g wheat semolina
40 g butter
2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk with the sugar and a few drops of vanilla extract. When boiling, lower the heat and pour the wheat semolina in. Mix well.
  2. Cover the pan and simmer for 10 min at low heat until the mixture gets thicker.
  3. Remove from the heat and add the butter and the beaten eggs.
  4. Pour in a buttered mould and cook, in the oven, for 25 min at 210°C.
  5. Keep in the fridge for at least 12h.

Tips

You can add apple slices or currants to the semolina.
