Ingredients
1 roll of puff pastry
1 tbsp chives
300 g Roquefort cheese
Pepper
2 tsp thickened cream
1 egg
100 g walnut halves
1 tsp honey
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 240°C.
Mix together the crumbled Roquefort, cream, honey, crushed walnuts and chopped chives; add some pepper.
Cut the puff pastry into 6 cm wide strips
Space the strips by 2 cm. Put a small stack of the Roquefort mixture on each strip.
Humidify the pastry around the mixture with a brush.
Cover with another strip of pastry, and press hard to join the sides. Spread some beaten egg on the top of the pastry.
Cut circles with a punch, making sure the mixture is at the center.
