This recipe creates tender, flavour-packed pork neck skewers marinated in a rich blend of light soya sauce, honey, spices, water, and fresh crushed garlic. The meat soaks overnight to absorb the sweet-savory balance, then is cut into chunks, placed on skewers, and grilled to perfection over a BBQ for a smoky, caramelized finish. Perfectly simple and incredibly delicious.

Ingredients

10 fairly thick pork necks
½ L superior light soya sauce
20 cl water
1 tsp ground mix spice
20 cl liquid honey
1 crushed garlic clove

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl: soya sauce, spices, honey, water, crushed garlic and water.
  2. Add the pork necks to the marinade ensuring all the meat is well covered.
  3. Taste the sauce. If too salty, add water.
  4. Leave in fridge overnight.
  5. Cut into pieces and put on sticks.
  6. Cooked best on BBQ.
