Ingredients

1 roll of shortcrust pastry p 24
50 g butter
6 apples
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3 packets of vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 210°C.
  2. Peel and cut 2 apples in small pieces.
  3. Heat them in a sauce pan on low heat .
  4. Add 2 packs of vanilla sugar and a tbsp of vanilla extract .
  5. Crush this mixture until it turns into applesauce.
  6. Add 25 g of butter to the applesauce.
  7. Peel and cut the remaining 4 apples into small slices.
  8. Layer the tin with the pastry and prick it with a fork.
  9. Pour the compote on the pastry. Cover with the apples .
  10. Heat 35 g of butter with 1 pack of vanilla sugar.
  11. Pour the mixture on the tart. Bake for 25 min in the oven.
