Product Highlight

 

These reusable baking strips wrap around round cake pans to help cakes bake more evenly, reducing raised centres and cracked tops. When soaked before baking, the strips help moderate the heat reaching the sides of the pan as the cake bakes. They are sized for use with 8-inch and 10-inch round pans and can be secured around the pan using the integrated fabric loop. Use them only while wet and at oven temperatures no higher than 400°F (204°C).

How To Use

Fit a dry strip around the cake pan and thread it through the fabric loop, then remove it and soak it in cold water; for best results, soak in ice-cold water for 5 minutes. Remove excess water without wringing, wrap the wet strip around the pan, cinch it securely, add the batter, and bake as directed without exceeding 400°F (204°C).
