The mix contains wheat flour and cocoa powder, with emulsifiers, stabilizers, baking powder and skimmed milk powder included in the formulation. It is suitable for producing sponge cakes for everyday baking, layered cakes and decorated celebration cakes. The standard preparation combines the mix with whole eggs, water and corn oil or melted butter before baking. The finished sponge can be used as a base for frosting, fillings and other cake decorations.

Chocolate Layer Cake — bake the sponge, then layer it with filling and finish with frosting for a decorated celebration cake.

Ingredients

Granulated sugar, wheat flour, cocoa powder, approved emulsifiers/stabilizers, baking powder, skimmed milk powder.

How To Use

Combine 1kg of cake mix with 100g whole eggs, 250g water and 150g corn oil or melted butter, following the standard preparation instructions. Mix as directed, deposit into a prepared baking pan and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
